What A Palestinian Child Finds When He Gets ‘home’ From School

While we are busy with our daily chores, getting angry at our parents, relatives, friends, being mad because we don't have the latest tipe of Smartphone or car, others are going through some real drama out there in the world...

After spending a difficult day at school, Kiswani the young 10 year old Palestinian boy, had the shock of his life seeing his childhood home totally destroyed by Israelian buldosers.

Why ? Throughout your life you'll have many disappointments and injustices, well this was the first one for little Kiswani.
The Israeli police buldosers distroyed his childhood house saying that they don't have construction right for the house. Ibrahim told WAFA that Israeli bulldozers, protected by Israeli police, entered the area at dawn, surrounded the house and gave the family of six members 10 minutes to evacuate the shed before demolishing it over its contents.
One of the residents, Mohammed Saleh Castero, said that the 420 square meter, two-story building included four apartments. He added that the family was given a 50-day demolition notice, and was unable to secure a permit in that time ... Roughly 94 percent of Palestinian applications for building permits are rejected, according to the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions. The group estimates that Israeli authorities have demolished about 27,000 Palestinian structures in the West Bank since 1967.
"My kids are crying and yelling because the autorities didn't let them to take absolutely no toy, seeing them like that makes me feel awful. Also there is the problem that we are a family of 6 members, me my wife and 4 kids and we don't have a plece where to sleep at night..."
In the future if you'll consider that there is made an injustice on yourself or when you argue with your parents/get mad at your friends, remember the story of young Kiswani, which has to live all his life with this injust decision.

  1. Why is this so unjust? The house was erected in violation of the law without a permit and most likely did not meet the requirements of the local building code. The residents were given a 50-day evacuation notice which provided them ample time to remove their toys and other belongings.

    1. Do you even know what Israeli's did to Palestinians home back in the day? Palestinians can only find themselves watching Israeli's go inside their home and claim it their own. THAT I DISAGREE

  2. Because the system is corrupt in favor of the Israelis. This family had no chance at getting a building permit. The Israelis should not be making decisions about Palestinean buildings anyway. It is like a Southern slave holder deciding where his slaves can live.
